Artistic License: Gallery walls are an unusual way to display your art

A gallery wall is a great way to display your art collection. There are plenty of resources on the internet for how-to guides on setting up your wall.

The first, and perhaps most important step, is to amass your collection. Really anything can be used on the wall, family photos, paintings, prints, travel souvenirs and children’s drawings. Try to avoid generic mass-produced items. It’s better to wait for something special. That way the end result will be a representation of meaningful moments in your life whether that’s an unforgettable holiday or a treasured letter.

There really are no rules in how to display the art. Though some advocate using the similar frames, or grouping by style or colour, we feel that the more eclectic the range of items the more unique the result. If you’re lost for ideas, here’s an informative guide of suggestions to follow.
